Cerulean is a colour in the blue family which closely resembles that of the vivid blue skies of my home in the Lot et Garonne region of South West France. Cerulean is a range of colours from teal–blue, sky-blue, bright blue, or azure to deep cyan. The word cerulean comes from the Latin word caeruleum, which means “sky” or “heavens“
It evokes feelings of peace and lightness as well as serenity due to its resemblance to water and the outdoors.
The colour gives a feeling of calmness amid the changing times. It is for those who desire inner peace and fulfilment despite entering uncertain yet exciting times.
Sky blue is the colour linked to the throat energy centre or Chakra which promotes creativity, communication and speaking your truth. It stimulates the energies in the neck, shoulders and thyroid.
